Rob Bethune is a Colo-Rectal Consultant Surgeon. Outside of private practice, he works at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. He is primarily a laparoscopic surgeon specialising in inflammatory bowel disease. He also manages hernias (laparoscopic and open), haemorrhoids and other peri-anal problems. He runs projects to improve the quality and safety of healthcare and has extensively published on this.  When he can find the time, he also plays golf and cricket.
